When the moment matters A Labor of love
Reid & Deanna (R & D) have always valued making memories together, and beyond that: remembering, treasure and reminiscing upon them. Deanna is an equestrian and animal lover, and while Reid loves animals, Deanna takes dominion over capturing animal moments. Reid on the other hand will jump at the chance to photograph anything aviation, landscape, and people.
Where R & D Photography was created is when Reid wanted to create this digital keepsake to store every moment experienced in real life through the lens. But, the part that makes it special for Reid is when Deanna suggested capturing spontaneous moments for others at no charge. How many times have you been out and about in a cool location or doing something fun and you see someone with a really cool camera and you wish you could ask them to take a photo of you but for whatever reason, you don’t. R & D sure have, so Deanna (using her genie powers) said so be it: and now, if the stars align and R & D are in the same location as you, you may find them coming up to you asking if you’d love your moment captured so that you may remember it and enjoy it forever. This is why R &D Photography exists. As Deanna put it best, our payment is seeing your smile.

All Natural or Enhanced? editing process
While we aim to bring out the best possible photo straight from the lens, there are some details and opportunities in photos that require some tasteful enhancements. To that end, we elevate the photo to suit our tastes and style. We aim to keep the image authentic, but also one that brings out the best qualities that we can with the image. If the universe is aligned and the picture from the camera is just right, then all natural it is. Below is an actual interactive example of one of our untouched photographs on the left and our enhanced version on the right.

What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.
